The Chaska High School class of 1988 is holding its 20-year reunion on Saturday, Aug. 2. The day begins with an all-class family and friends picnic at the Lions Park shelter, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch. Tables and chairs are provided. The free event will include games for kids and adults. At 6:30 p.m., the class holds a dinner at Dahlgreen Golf Club – The Willow Restaurant at 6940 Dahlgren Road (off of Highway 212). Chaska honored for 'Pajama Game'June 5, 2008 - 3:16pm — Mark OlsonHennepin Theatre Trust’s 2007-08 SpotLight Musical Theatre Program is holding an awards ceremony to honor area musical theater. Honorees were selected from among 25 Minnesota metro high schools, including Chaska. The year-long SpotLight education program culminates with the 2007-08 SpotLight Musical Theatre Program Awards Ceremony held 7 p.m., Sunday, June 8 at the Orpheum Theatre, according to a press release. Tickets are $10 and available through www.hennepintheatredistrict.org or (612) 373-5696. Thirty members of the Chaska FFA recently gave presentations on livestock production to 530 second-graders at five District 112 elementary schools. The members provided 21 animals that students could look at and pet, reports FFA Advisor Dennis Bjorklund.
