City council roundup for June 2

The Chaska City Council discussed the following items at its June 2 meeting. For more detailed information on some of these stories, see this week's print edition of the Herald.

Chamber merger: The council expressed their displeasure with the idea of merging the Chaska Area Chamber with chambers in Chanhassen and Victoria.

Dust control: The council approved the 2008 Dust Control program in which gravel roads are treated to keep dust down during summer months. The city and affected residents will split the costs for the treatments.
