Going ... going ... gone

June 26, 2008 - 2:22pm

MnDOT workers remove the old Highway 212 sign in downtown Chaska, at the Highway 41 intersection. "Highway 212," which the road has been known as for generations, is now "Chaska Boulevard." New Highway 212, located north on Highway 41 just about two miles, is slated to open to Carver on July 7. The MnDOT workers at the top are Joel Klukas (left) and Ron McDeid. The MnDOT workers in the center photo are Dan Smuk (left) and Rick Frick.
