Mike Coleman, standing by the church’s original 1881 bell, greets visitors to East Union Lutheran Church Cemetery last Saturday evening. Several East Union parishioners portrayed early members of the congregation for the “Ghost Tours” of the cemetery, telling visitors about pioneer life. In many cases, parishioners portrayed relatives. Coleman spent the past year preparing the scripts for the tour. The event was part of East Union’s 150th celebration, which included worship, dinner and special music on Sunday.
