The large cottonwood tree behind the Mill House Gallery started to come down Friday morning. The city brokered a deal with the Mill House Gallery owners - Sara and Mike Hanlon - to foot some of the cost of the removal after they determined the tree to be a liability to the surrounding properties. Redevelopment on the adjacent site is set to begin this month, accoring to developer Chad Weich. A Snyder's Pharmacy and an addition to the Kelley's Bar building are among the plans for redevelopment. (Photo by Mollee Francisco)
