Chaska High School dance team captains Christina Hamari and Emily Hassenstab know the Hawks have the “funk.” Now, it’s time to sell the “junk.”

The Hawk dance team will hold its third annual garage sale this weekend, comprised of contributions from more than 70 dancers and alumni families.

Money raised at the sale goes toward new costumes for the varsity winter season.

The sale features everything from furniture, home décor, toys, sports and athletic gear, books, electronics, clothing from infant to back-to-school to adult; including a boutique section, kitchenware and more.

Admission is free to the sale, which will be held rain or shine on the northeast corner of County Road 41 and Engler Boulevard at Chaska Middle School West.

The sale runs 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
