Have you ever wondered where you get those fun, funky hats and scarves? Or those scrumptious baby blankets? Learn how to easily create your own! This fun and easy class will teach you how to knit using a loom rather than traditional knitting needles. You will learn how to start and finish projects, incorporate different yarns, beats, etc. and be well on your way to finishing a project of your own. The class fee includes one scarf or hat loom, knitting hook, and your choice of yarns.

Stamp Out a Cure for Breast Cancer

The "Stamp Out a Cure for Breast Cancer", a "hands on" rubber stamping fundraising event, open to everyone who wants to participate, will be held on Sat. October 18th and Sun. October 19th 2008. Make 12 gorgeous holiday-themed cards, while raising money and awareness for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund. This event is fun for the beginner right on up to the advanced crafter.

This event is organized by Patti Chesky, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator residing in Chaska. Cost is $28.

True Ghost Stories at the Strait House

I am proud to tell you about an event that will be happening at the Strait house in Jordan on Oct 25 between 11am and 4pm. This should be a fun event as there will be door prizes, refreshments, and a demonstration of the equipment that Minnesota’s Beyond the Veil uses including the thermo camera. Included will be examples of evps (Electronic voice phenomena) and photos of what are believed to be spirits.
